Data Deletion

Use this page to disconnect platforms, revoke Google, TikTok, Meta, or Pinterest access, and request deletion of PostFactory account, Content Lab, device, proxy protection, or analytics data.

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. Request deletion

To request deletion of your PostFactory account data, workspace data, Content Lab source assets or outputs, connected platform data, device data, proxy protection records, or stored analytics, email [email protected] from the email address used for your PostFactory account. Include the workspace name and the social account, device, Content Lab item, or platform you want deleted if your request is scoped to specific data.

2. Disconnect connected accounts

  • You can disconnect a connected Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, or Pinterest account from the PostFactory dashboard when the connection management action is available.
  • Disconnecting removes PostFactory's stored authorization data for that connection and stops future imports for that account.
  • Disconnecting a social account does not automatically delete the user-facing account record, historical analytics snapshots, or workspace records unless you separately request deletion.

3. Revoke platform access

  • Google and YouTube: you can revoke PostFactory's Google access in your Google Account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • TikTok: you can manage connected apps from your TikTok account settings or revoke the app authorization from TikTok's connected app controls where available.
  • Instagram and Facebook: you can manage or remove app access from your Meta, Facebook, or Instagram account settings and business integrations where available.
  • Pinterest: if the approved Pinterest feature is enabled, you can disconnect it in PostFactory and manage or revoke PostFactory access from Pinterest's connected-app settings where available.
  • Revoking platform access prevents future authorized platform connections or imports but may not notify PostFactory to delete previously imported data. Email [email protected] if you also want PostFactory records deleted.

4. Pinterest search and media deletion

  • Public Pinterest search does not use your Pinterest account authorization. Disconnecting or revoking a separate Pinterest account connection therefore does not delete media that you previously selected for a Content Lab workflow.
  • You may request deletion of stored queries or selections, Pinterest collections, imported media, related outputs, and associated source metadata by emailing [email protected] and identifying the relevant workspace, collection, or Content Lab item.
  • If a rights holder, Pinterest, or another authorized party requests removal, contact [email protected] with the source Pin link, the affected PostFactory item, and evidence of authority where appropriate. We may restrict access while reviewing the request.
  • Deletion of imported media and related outputs is performed where technically and legally feasible. Limited provenance, security, complaint, or takedown records may be retained where required to demonstrate compliance, prevent re-upload, or resolve a dispute.

5. What we delete

  • For a full account deletion request, we delete or anonymize personal account data, workspace data you control, Content Lab source assets and outputs, connected platform records, device records, proxy protection records, stored authorization data, and stored analytics where deletion is not prevented by legal, security, or dispute-resolution obligations.
  • For a scoped connected-platform deletion request, we delete stored authorization data, connection metadata, related connection records, imported post or source metadata, selected media, related outputs, and stored analytics for the requested connection where technically and legally feasible.
  • For a scoped device deletion request, we delete or anonymize device records and related proxy protection records where technically and legally feasible.
  • We may retain limited records needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, proxy abuse investigation, audit logs, backups, or dispute resolution. Backup copies are deleted or overwritten on their normal lifecycle.

6. Timing and verification

We may need to verify your identity and authority over the workspace before completing a deletion request. We aim to respond promptly and will complete verified deletion requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.

7. Contact
